My chosen family for Family Spotlight #2 is my 2Great-Greandpa Benjamin Franklin Jenkins and family.

1. Benjamin Franklin Jenkins-1 was born on 16 Jul 1870 in Union, Laclede, Missouri, USA.  He died on 14 Jul 1945 in Boone, Missouri, USA (Three miles east of Oldham -- was in this community for 1 year). He also went by the name of Benjamin Jinkins.


Clara Viola Sanders daughter of Milton Sanders and Unknown Faller was born on 07 Oct 1876 in Missouri, USA. She died on 04 Aug 1924 in Glaze, Miller, Missouri, USA. (At this time I can't find a death certificate at the Missouri Database, if anyone has a copy please email at dadsfamilytree@yahoo.com.)


Benjamin Franklin Jenkins and Clara Viola Sanders were married on 21 Sep 1890 in Ulman Ridge, Miller, Missouri, USA. They had the following children:


i. Arthur Edmon Jenkins was born on 31 Oct 1891 in Ulman, Miller, Missouri, USA. He died on 10 Jun 1976 in Tuscumbia, Miller, Missouri, USA.


ii. Lucinda Jenkins was born on 03 Mar 1893. She died on 16 May 1896.


iii. Jasper M. Jenkins was born on 06 Oct 1894 in Tuscumbia, Miller, Missouri, USA. He died on 18 Apr 1910 in Equality Twp, Miller, Missouri, USA.


iv. Milton Frederick Jenkins was born on 09 Jan 1896 in Miller, Missouri, USA. He was born in Apr 1896 in Missouri, USA. He married Hattie Pearl Wilson on 16 Jul 1916 in Miller, Missouri, USA. He died on 22 Jan 1987 in Dixon, Pulaski, Missouri, USA.


v. James Marrion Jenkins was born on 19 Nov 1897. He died on 01 Apr 1979. He also went by the name of Marvin Jenkins.


vi. Oliver Tallie Jenkins was born in Apr 1889 in Missouri. was born on 31 Mar 1899. Died in Apr 1910.
(At this time I can't find a death certificate at the Missouri database. I'm not for sure on the name for it is listed differently in different sources.)

vii. Jake Jenkins was born on 31 Jan 1901 in Miller, Missouri, USA. He died on 19 Oct 1976 in Cedar City, Callaway, Missouri, USA. He also went by the name of William J Jenkins.


viii. Benjamin Bennie Franklin Jenkins was born on 11 Feb 1903 in Tuscumbia, Miller, Missouri, USA. He died on 31 Mar 1910 in Equality Twp, Miller, Missouri, USA.


ix. Bettie Jenkins was born on 21 Sep 1905. She died in 1906.
